![]() She hit a button and the moose head started lip syncing Proud Mary by CCR. One of servers caught my eye looking over at a giant moose head on the wall and said “listen to this honey”. The sarcastic humor decorating the exterior of the restaurant reflects the charming personalities of the staff too. I came in the off season, so I’m sure the lack of drunken rowdy summertime Marylanders trashing the joint from June-August helped a ton. The service staff was super down to earth and friendly. I was actually surprised at how much lobster was in the sandwich and how good it tasted. ![]() Straight and to the point, no fancy filling - just my kind of meal! They focus on what they do best - lobster. The lobster sandwich was fresh and delicious & came with a pickle + fries. They make a mean Bloody Mary with real lobster…an entire claw….it was great. Overall, thumbs up and highly recommend!Īmazing food, great views, friendly staff and positive low-key vibes all around. This is a place where you can go and get a cup a literal cup of chowder and things of that nature but also get updated things off of the menu for a decent price. The only other thing I could say negatively was the decor was very old but it kind of gives it its own character because of the name and the type of place that it was. The bartender was very nice and the food came out very Timely and you can tell it was very fresh being that the place was on the water. ![]() Anyway, the food was very good and we got wings, I got shrimp tacos and my girlfriend got the Lobster Roll sandwich. It was April so I guess I don't know if it was technically the end of winter or the beginning of spring, but the weather outside was definitely not winter weather. The service was good, the food was good, but the only thing I can say negatively was there were heaters right above our heads and we had the entire bar in the back to sit meaning two of us oh, yet we couldn't escape it. Home cooked pancakes are better in my opinion. I’m not sure if it was on purpose? But, it was weird. The chocolate chip placement was definitely… interesting. Lacked flavor.Ĭhocolate chip pancakes (4/10): Pretty average pancakes, nothing special. They also didn’t taste full cooked, and they were very dry. Everything went well together and I was overall very pleased.īreakfast potatoes (4/10): Taste was bland. The chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen anything like it. It was unique and just amazing.Īpple Turnover: My family liked it a lot but, I didn’t because I don’t like apples in that crushed form.Ĭrabby chicken sandwich (7/10): Unique dish. The food is good, but nothing great.Ĭoconut Muffin (10/10): Delicious! Loved the coconut flavoring inside. It took us a while for the waiter to actually come to our table after being seated. Friendly and efficient service has been the foundation of our success and our management staff is always available for any suggestions or concerns.TLDR: Came for lunch around 12 on a Sunday and there was about a 45 minute wait. Our focus is to remain an affordable, casual restaurant while also offering the highest quality food and beverages available. ![]() The past 39 years have brought many changes but one thing remains the same: Harpoon Hanna’s is a family restaurant.
